  • posted a message on Anyone Else Losing Items For Sale?

I had some eggs for sale overnight and I woke up in the morning with no sales or even eggs back in collectibles.  I may have lost another 1-2 this afternoon but not totally sure because I was mashing buttons.

    Anyone else have this issue/glitch?

Does the game reset at a certain time for updates where certain date gets messed up?  Thx for any info.

Premium was awful anyway.  I got 1 in 5 months of this game.  Yao/Shaq/AI was nearly impossible but I got the other elites 10 times.

With +5 attributes he could be the best card in the game at 95.

I don't think Slogan Surplus is a bad idea if you have a lot of extra slogans. It's just 10 slogans instead of the 8 in the regular set, nbd.

Also yeah, trading in golds for elite players isn't a good idea, except you should do it at least once so you're credited with fulfilling the set. You can but low elites for under 80K and can sell golds for 14K so, that exchange doesn't add up.

I don't think it's so bad but isn't it just better ot be patient and exchange the collectibles for something that saves you 2 collectibles (which you can use when you exchange) as well as the 3-4 items you get from the regular exchange?

Golds sell for 14k ?! You can find them for 7k
I am just going off my searches last night.  I needed a Celtic Gold and all auctions were ending near 14k definitely over 10k.  I imagine without a filter it's all over the place.

the problem with waiting is that some sets might possibly expire and some players might be useless after the quarterfinals

Thought about it.  I do worry about that but you can't even complete all the sets until the round is over so I don't think it's likely.

  • posted a message on Is Slogan Surplus A Bad Idea For the Playoff Promo? (and other set building thoughts)

After finally "getting" how to do well in the Spring promotion toward the very end I don't wanna waste items and players in this new promo.

It seems like the slogan surplus and also the 2 gold player for a random player is a bad deal.  While it may be frustrating to wait for the other needed slogans you will eventually get them and the East/West packs have a gold player and other helpful items.  Gold players go for what, about 15-25+ depending on the time of day and if someone really needs a Buy It Now player.  So it would appear that wasting any gold players and exchanging any slogans for a random player would be a waste.  You are better off keeping them or even selling (and buying elites later or keeping the coins).

    Anyone agree of disagree?

As a sidebar, under 90 Elite Playoff Players tend to go for 80kish right now.  Some as high as 100k.  Thinking back to the mobile madness, those prices dropped especially late in the promo.  I would think there would a similarity here due to different levels of the NCAA tourney and the different rounds of the playoffs.    However if later rounds have better players, is it better to buy elites now?  Save gold pickems for later?

    Thanks guys, good luck grinding!

So would you think based on this prices will go up or down as the Spring promo ends and they add new players to this one?

  • posted a message on The market has officially crashed!

I don't get why people are so surprised by this.  EA wants people spending coins and actually purchasing coins and packs for different reasons.  If they stay so consistent where only wondrous baskets are worth it than it isn't best for EA and also isn't even best or the average player that isn't on a forum and that can't even make a single wondrous.  I expect that over the next few days most wondrous will be solid but today's dud was a sign that you can't only hoard wondrous and gotta mix it up for top value.

  • posted a message on The Official Basket Content Thread!

First of all thank you to everyone who posts in this thread.  Someone has to be the guinea pig and test out the baskets.  I have a ton of gold baskets, a few large, 2 eggsuisite and 2 eggs away from my 1st wondrous.

I read all the complaints here and I gotta think EA mixes it up on purpose so we don't all sell everything but eggsuisite eggs.  By mixing in some good in the large and eggsuisite baskets it makes it more of a mystery and values less predictable.

I have to think as a strategy generally you wanna sell your silver eggs because 21k in sales is better than a gold basket likely worth 10k or less and you wanna keep anything eggsuisite and wondrous and maybe mix in some large as shown today.  Thoughts on that?
